During the rainy season, there are frequent heavy rains in many places. The editor made a rough statistics: In June, when it was hot and rainy, we installed and commissioned more than 10 water extraction projects outside. The epidemic and climatic conditions accelerated our progress.
It seems that in a blink of an eye, our floating dock pumping station has been developed from domestically to overseas, from rivers and lakes to large and small reservoirs, tailings reservoirs, and puddles. The ocean also has our presence. Over the years, we have overcome difficulties, accumulated experience, and devoted ourselves to every project.
Throughout each pontoon water intake project, each has its own characteristics, some adorn the scenery to complement each other, and some are magnificent and feel shocking. Today, what I want to introduce is the twin flowers of floating boats installed at the same water intake point.
1. Water intake project of OBI Island in Maluku Province, Indonesia
Indonesia’s OBI Island Reservoir has successively built two multi-stage floating dock pumping stations for water intake. The red pump boat on the right is to take water for the Obi Island nickel-iron project in Maluku, Indonesia. It was built in April 2016 with a water intake of 50,000 tons. /day. The blue pump ship on the left draws water from the Ni-Co project in Obi Island, Maluku, Indonesia. It was built in May this year with a water intake of 100,000 tons per day. 2. Water supply outside the stope of China Resources Cement (Pingnan) limestone mine
The water intake pump ship for the drainage project of China Resources Cement’s Pingnan Stone Mine Reservoir is built in the designated sump of the quarry area to extract water from the mine. The displacement is 200,000 m3/day. The medium is surface water with a small amount of sand and gravel. Impurities. The water pump adopts a single-stage double-suction centrifugal pump with abrasion resistance.

3. Jiangtong Dexing Copper Mine (Tieluoshan) tailings reservoir water recycling
Jiangxi Copper Industry Co., Ltd. newly built the first phase of the No. 5 tailings reservoir of Dexing Copper Mine. In order to meet environmental protection requirements, the tailings water is designed not to be discharged, and all the tailings are recycled and used to achieve "zero" discharge of sewage. The designed tailings return water rate is not less than 85%, the initial return water volume is 192,000 m3/d, and the normal return water volume is 230,000 m3/d.
A total of two backwater pontoon pumping stations were installed in the first phase of the No. 5 tailings reservoir. The water intake capacity of a single pontoon is 115,000 t/d, and the total water intake capacity of the two pontoons is 230,000 t/d. The designed service life is 30 years.

In addition, we have built dozens of floating dock pumping stations in the mother river, the Yellow River, from Inner Mongolia to Henan, to contribute to the people along the Yellow River.
In China's long river-the Yangtze River, we have more pontoon pumping stations, especially in Hunan, Hubei, and Anhui sections. There is a water intake pump ship designed and built for river and sea water supply and drainage every some distance. Those water intake facilities built in the Yangtze River silently look at each other and shoulder the same mission, which reminds people of the ancient poetry: I live at the head of the Yangtze River, and you live at the end of the Yangtze River. Day after day, thinking about the king but not seeing the king, "take" the Yangtze River water.
